Week 1: Introduction to Practice Ownership
In our first week we will discuss the various models, address common misconceptions, insurance vs cash vs hybrid financial models, outline business fundamentals and provide an overview on writing a business plan.
Week 2: Fee-For-Service/Insurance-Based Models
In the second week, we will discuss the fee-for-service and insurance-based models. We’ll help you understand what the definitions of the models are, how they operated, the contracts associated with these models, and how to get the proper licensure and credentialing.
Week 3: Direct Primary Care & Cash-Based Models
In the third week, we will discuss the direct primary care and cash-based models. We’ll help you understand what the definitions of the models are, outline Medicare Opt-out and cash-based options, discuss GPO/Lab creation, and help you understand the potential start-up costs.
Week 4: Introduction to Concierge Medicine
In the fourth week, we will discuss the concierge medicine model. We’ll help you understand what the definition of the model is, discuss the differences from cash-based model, and talk about pricing models.
Week 5: Telemedicine + Other Models
In the fifth week, we will discuss practicing with remote option, the changing landscape of coverage, compare insurance vs. cash, and help you understand licensure and privileges and franchise opportunities.
Week 6: Lifestyle Design
In the final week, we will tie it all together! We will discuss future coaching options, our affiliates and have a Q&A session to ensure you feel confident to move forward!
